COVID-19

Before you come to the clinic, have a read of the following information so you are informed about how we operate. This information is updated as Government policy changes, so keep checking here each time there is a change. I take health and safety very seriously in my practice, and am vaccinated and boosted.

Only come to your appointment if you are healthy and well

This means no symptoms such as:

  • cough and/or sore throat

  • sneezing and/or runny nose

  • headache

  • fever - temperature of at least 38°C

  • shortness of breath

  • loss of smell or taste

  • nothing else infectious i.e. cold, flu, other viral infection including gastro bugs.

If you have any of these, please STAY HOME and let me know ASAP so I can cancel your appointment.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 cancel your appointment ASAP and reschedule once you are out of your 7 day self-isolation period.

If you are a household contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you should do a RAT prior to coming to your appointment.

Arriving for your appointment:

  • As my business is a health service and a close-contact business, please bring a facemask to wear during face-to-face interactions at your appointment i.e. during the consultation at the beginning and end of your appointment and when face-up on the massage table. I wear a facemask for the duration of face-to-face sessions

  • Use the hand sanitiser when you arrive.

If you turn up when unwell/experiencing any symptoms of being unwell I am not able to treat you. No exceptions.  If I get sick I am unable to work, and this impacts other clients and my business. As my clinic is run from my home, it also puts others in my household at risk if I see sick clients. To make this easier for you, I don’t charge for appointments that you have to cancel at short notice when you are sick.  But the sooner you let me know, the better as I can make the appointment available for other clients.
